🤝 About the Race

• Origin: Started as a yearly run on July 4th with American flags
• Mission: Hosting the Flag Run 5k annually to promote freedom and community support
• Impact: Previous year - 500 runners, $5000 donated to Boerne Fire Department
• This Year: Expecting over 600 runners, proceeds for equipment and scholarship

📅 Schedule of Events

• 5:30 am: Setup begins
• 7:45 am: Warm-up
• 7:55 am: National anthem & prayer
• 8:00 am: 1 mile walk
• 8:05 am: 5k run
• 9:10 am: Awards for top male, female, and flag runners

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• Location: Kendall Hill Country Inn, serving Tacos from Compadres and drinks
