Kick off Plains Day with a morning run or walk

Event Purpose
- Community Focus: We want to offer community races and walks to our local population and support our local athletes.
- History of Excellence: Our town has a history of producing outstanding runners, and some of our past graduates have went on to build a great running community across our state.
- Growing Talent: We currently have some unbelievable talent among our high school athletes and see young athletes coming up through the grades.
- Support for Youth: Promoting our local running and walking community will help continue this momentum and create opportunities for our youth.
Scholarship Support
- Annual Scholarship: This event will help support the Sanders County Running Club annual scholarship.
- Local Scholarships: We also support local scholarships and travel costs for post-season track and cross-country events.
Registration
- Pre-Registration: Please pre-register online to minimize logistics during race-day.
- Cost Increases: Registration cost increases the closer we get to race-day, register early.
- T-Shirt Cost: T-Shirt is not included in the initial registration; it is an additional $10 if you elect to receive a shirt.
- Race-Day Registration: Race-Day registration (cash or check) will be from 7:00-7:30 am at the start line (VFW). ($30 w/o Shirt, $40 with)
Packet Pick-up
Packet Pick-up will be on race day from 7:30-8:30 am at the start line.
The Course and Events
- 5K Loop: The 5K Loop will start at 9:00 am. It will start and finish at the VFW.
- Kids 1 Mile Run: We will also have a kids 1 mile run that will start at 10:00 am.
- Post-Race Breakfast: After the race, go into the VFW for a great breakfast.

Current PHS Athletes who are helping with the race get free entry. Please use the "contact" button to send Name, Birthday, and Shirt Size.
