Plains Day 5K and Kids Mile

Kick off Plains Day with a morning run or walk:  --   Sanders County Timing 

 

We want to offer community races and walks to our local population and support our local athletes.

Our town has a history of producing outstanding runners and some of our past graduates have went on to build a great running community across our state.  We currently have some unbelievable talent among our high school athletes and we can see some young athletes coming up through the grades.   Promoting our local running and walking community will help us continue this momentum and create opportunities for our youth. 

This event will help support the Sanders County Running Club annual scholarship 

We also support local scholarships and travel costs for post-season track and cross-country events.

Registration:

Please pre-register online to minimize logistics during race-day.

Registration cost increases the closer we get to race-day, register early.

T-Shirt is not included in the initial registration, it is an additional $10 if you elect to receive a shirt.

Race-Day registration (cash or check) will be from 7:00-7:30 am at the start line (VFW).   ($30 w/o Shirt, $40 with)

Packet Pick-up will be on race day from 7:30-8:30 am at the start line.

The Course and Events:

The 5K Loop will start at 9:00 am.  It will start and finish at the VFW.   We will also have a kids 1 mile run that will start at 10:00 am.

After the race, go into the VFW for a great breakfast.

Current PHS Athletes who are helping with the race get free entry.  Please use the "contact" button to send Name, Birthday, and Shirt Size.
