- Main Race Start: 2:00 PM near East Grand Rapids Middle School
- Finish Line: In front of Collins Park
- Kids Race: 1:30 PM for ages 12 and under
- Course Length: 4-mile USATF certified loop around Reeds Lake
History and Purpose
- Established: Since 1982, founded by Joe O’Brien
- Tradition: A New Year’s Eve tradition for runners and walkers
- Legacy: Supporting community through Guiding Light Works
- Weather: The event continues regardless of the weather
Packet Pickup
- Early Pickup: December 30, 4–7 PM at Big Bob’s Pizza
- Race Day Pickup: 12 PM - 2 PM
- Post Race: After party and awards at Big Bob’s on Croswell
