Marquette County Fair Fun Run – Year 4! Lace up your sneakers and get ready to kick off fair weekend the right way—we’re back with the 4th Annual Marquette County Fair Fun Run!

Run Details

• Distance: This ~1.5 mile run/walk is all about fun, community, and a little friendly competition.
• Prizes: We’ll be awarding prizes to the 1st place male and female finishers, so bring your A-game… or just come for the good time.

New Features

• Costume Contest: NEW THIS YEAR! Before the race, we’re adding a little extra flair with a barnyard-themed costume contest at 10:15 AM (just before the run starts).
• Costume Ideas: Think cows, chickens, farmers, pigs—anything that feels at home on the farm!
• Categories: Best Adult Costume and Best Kids Costume.
• Prizes for Costumes:
  • Best Adult Costume – wins a Marquette County Date Night Basket (valued at $300+ and packed with goodies from local businesses)
  • Best Kids Costume – wins a “Fluffle” Membership to the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum (valid for one year and covers two adults + all children in the household)

• Costume Contest: 10:15 AM
• Race Start: 10:30 AM
• Location: Marquette County Fairgrounds (starting line in front of the Go-Kart Tracks)

• Cost: $25
• Includes:
  • All-day fair admission
  • Event T-shirt (Must be registered by June 30th to receive T-Shirt)
  • Entry into the costume contest
