Event Overview

The Give 'N Gobble 5K Thanksgiving Day Race is a fun-filled annual holiday tradition for Dickson County and many families in Middle Tennessee!

Race Details

• Date: 2026-11-26
• Location: 126 N Main Street, Dickson, TN
• Start: The race begins with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson.
• Finish: The race concludes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum.

Competition

For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States.

• Certified Course: The challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field.
• Timing: Both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed.

Charitable Cause

Since the first race in 2014, the Give ‘N Gobble has raised over $431,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center.

• Support: The Dickson County Help Center provides aid in the form of food, clothing, prescribed medication, temporary shelter, and limited financial assistance.
• Mission: Assistance is provided to the citizens of Dickson County on an emergency basis with love and dignity.
