On June 12, 2027, you’ll take on a full day of movement, challenge, and time on the trails at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

For the first time, UltraTrax is heading to Loretta Lynn’s legendary ranch. Set among the rolling hills of rural Tennessee, the property features miles of established trails alongside Hurricane Creek and has long been home to trail rides and outdoor events. Expect a course that moves between wooded trails, rolling terrain, open countryside, and quiet stretches that feel a world away from the everyday.

Whether you’re here to walk 7 miles or push all the way to 28, the challenge is yours to define.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, June 12, 2027
• Location: Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, Hurricane Mills, TN
• Course: One 7-mile loop with four distances
• Time: Complete your goal within the 10-hour event window.

Start Line Information

The start line is open between 7am-10am and is divided into corrals based on distance. 28 milers get started at 7am, 21 milers at 7:45am, 14 milers at 8:30am, and 7 milers at 9:15am.

UltraTrax is not a race, but it is a timed endurance event. You’ll have up to 10 hours to complete your chosen distance. Move at your pace. Take breaks when you need them. Then keep going.

Bib Pickup

• Advance Pickup: Your bib may be mailed to you in advance or picked up on event morning.
• In-Person Requirement: Participants registering after May 20, 2027 must pick up their bib in person.

Taking on the Ruck Challenge?

• Equipment: If you registered for a weighted division, you’ll need to bring your own ruck, backpack, or weighted vest.
• Weight Check: Your pack will be weighed before you begin. Everything in the pack counts toward your required weight except perishable food and drinks.

Finishers Will Receive

• Medal: A custom UltraTrax finisher medal (Grey Wolf Medal for 28 and 21 milers, Trail Wolf Medal for 14 and 7 milers)
• T-shirt: UltraTrax event T-shirt
• Patch: UltraTrax patch
• Swag: Additional swag for weighted divisions

After your trek, stick around and enjoy the atmosphere at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. The property is a destination in its own right, with campgrounds, shops, historic attractions, and plenty of space to settle in after a day on the trails. Friends and family are welcome to join.

What to Expect at West Tennessee

A Classic Tennessee Trail Experience: Travel through the rolling countryside of Loretta Lynn’s Ranch on a mix of wooded trails, open terrain, and stretches near Hurricane Creek. The ranch regularly hosts trail events with miles of marked routes ranging from approachable paths to more rugged sections, giving UltraTrax a great setting for a course built around steady movement and time on your feet.

A Challenge You Choose: There is no single definition of success at UltraTrax. Walk your first 7 miles, chase 28, or add weight and see what you can carry.

Support Along the Way: Expect a well-marked course, stocked aid stations, event staff, and a community of people working toward their own goals alongside you.

Parking

Complimentary onsite parking will be available at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, located at 8000 Highway 13 S, Hurricane Mills, TN 37078. More detailed arrival, parking, course, and event-day information will be sent as Trek Day gets closer.
