Event Overview

• Registration Note: T-shirts were ordered on July 16. If you register after July 16, you will receive a t-shirt but we cannot guarantee your size preference.
• Annual Event: Join us for the 10th annual Gibbet Hill Cattle Run while raising money for a great cause!
• Course Description: Dodge cow-pies, navigate cattle trails, and prepare to scale Groton's most famous peak, Gibbet Hill. It's an 8.4-mile, three-person team relay!
• Finish Line Celebrations: Enjoy barbecue, beer, and live music as we celebrate our achievements and raise money for deserving causes.

Relay Registration Details

• Team Structure: The Gibbet Hill Cattle Run Relay is a three-person race.
• Fundraising Commitment: Participants commit to fundraising $50 each (minimum of $150 per team).
• Increased Minimum: After July 15, the minimum will be raised to $180 per team.
• Beneficiary Support: All proceeds from fundraising and registration benefit our charitable partners.

Cattle Run for Kids

• Age Requirement: Designed for kids 12 & under to experience the thrill of the run.
• Solo Run: The Single Loop is a solo run covering just one lap of the Cattle Run course.
• Registration Benefits: Includes a BBQ entry and a Cattle Run t-shirt. Indicate child’s t-shirt size when registering.
• Involvement Opportunity: Perfect for kids to challenge themselves and join in the fun!

Little Lambs Mini Run

• Event Details: Little lambs will race around our retention pond while maneuvering obstacles for a chance to win a trophy.
• Age Groups: Two brackets available: 6-8 years, and 5 years & under.
• Registration Fee: $30 includes a t-shirt, a BBQ ticket, and more!
• Check-in: Check in at the registration desk to receive a bib and instructions.

Family and Friends Fun

• Community Engagement: The Cattle Run is enjoyable for everyone with plenty of activities.
• Festivities: Spectators can enjoy lawn games, a delicious BBQ, and live music.
• Support the Runners: Cheer on all our runners and be part of the event's excitement!
