Welcome to the Inaugural West Virginia Water Festival Trail Race, set in the heart of southern West Virginia’s most scenic river corridor.
Race Overview
- Distance Options: The 19 Miler is an out-and-back course running from Bluestone State Park to Pipestem and back, following the Bluestone River through rugged, wooded terrain and stunning water views the entire way.
- Shorter Route: The 6 Miler will follow a similar out-and-back format, offering a shorter but equally scenic option for runners looking to experience the course.
- Start/Finish: Both distances start and finish in the pool area at Bluestone State Park.
What to Expect
- Scenic Views: Scenic river views and classic West Virginia trail terrain.
- Course Challenge: A challenging but rewarding out-and-back course.
- Atmosphere: A laid-back, festival-style atmosphere as part of the WV Water Festival.

Awards
Awards will be presented to overall winners in each distance. We will add age groups if participation numbers allow.
