The Hope Hustle 5K is a vibrant, family-friendly event featuring a run/walk, music, food trucks, kids activities, and a celebration of hope as we come together to move toward brighter futures.

Whether you run or walk, this event is all about community, purpose, and positivity.

Event Highlights

• 5K Event: Participants will enjoy a 5K run/walk, vendors, and an exciting finish line celebration.
• Kid’s Dream Dash: Kids can join the FREE Kid’s Dream Dash. Perfect for little ones not ready for a full 5K, this 100–200 meter sprint gives kids a chance to experience race day in a fun, low-pressure way.
• T-shirts and Medals: All 5K finishers will receive a custom Hope Hustle race shirt and finisher medal.
• Photo Experience: Families can also enjoy the Dream Big photo experience, where kids can celebrate their future aspirations.

Proceeds and Mission

Proceeds support the mission of Hope to the Nations, helping reduce poverty through education, exposure, and community resources.

• Pre-Packet Pickup Location: Chicken and Pickle 2965 State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Date: September 25th, 2026
• Time: 3pm-6pm
• Race Day Packet Pickup: September 26, 2026, from 6:15am-7:15am at EPIC CENTRAL (behind The Finch & Vidorra), 2959 S State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Volunteer Opportunities

• Packet Pickup: Help distribute racer packets.
• Aid Station: Provide water to participants and keep the course clean.
• Course Monitor: Maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
• Cheer Squad: Bring fun items to cheer on and encourage runners along the course!

Awards

• Top Awards: 1st Place Male and Female.
• Age Division Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in divisions 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Team Competition: Gather your friends, family, or coworkers for the Hope Hustle 5K!
• Grand Prize: The largest registered team will receive a complimentary stay in the Dominican Republic!

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

Weather Policy: In the event of extreme weather, the start time may be delayed. If conditions become unsafe, the event may be canceled at the discretion of the Race Director.

Participant Options: If you are unable to participate or if the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and run the race on your own time on your own course.
