Event Overview
Run or walk the 5K (or a shorter 1.3 mile route), and then at the finish line, kids and adults alike can tour the ambulances & equipment.
Food and Drinks
- Free food & drinks: Gourmet waffles from Waffle De Lys, donuts and coffee from Dunkin, and bagels & more from Sonny's Bagels.
- Face Painting: Enjoy free face painting and activities for kids.

- 8:30 AM: 5K Run / Walk
- 9:30 AM: Kids Fun Run (free!)
- EMS Community Open House: (free!)
Charitable Purpose
All proceeds go to providing free Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the residents of South Orange, Maplewood and the surrounding communities. The South Orange Rescue Squad is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization staffed by volunteers and funded solely by contributions from the community.
