26th Annual Brooklet Peanut 5k

This year will mark 26th Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k. This race will be held on the 3rd Saturday in August (August 15, 2026) and will begin at 7:15 A.M. The location of the race will be at the Brooklet Elementary School - 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA. The awards ceremony will be in front of the school at 8:30 A.M.

Event Overview

• History: As this is the 26th year, we are one of the oldest regional area 5k's and will continue to make this a great event for all participants.
• Awards: Plans are being made to award top prizes and also have some great door prizes.
• Participation: We look forward to all runners and walkers to participate.
• Change in Festival Schedule: The actual Peanut Festival has been moved to the third Saturday in September, however we have kept the 5k race on what was the original date of the Peanut Festival which was the 3rd Saturday of August.

Hosted by Southeast Bulloch High School

The 5k run is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School Cross Country Team(s). This is a fundraiser to help with travel costs within the season and also assist with the purchasing of uniforms and other team equipment and supplies.

Pricing Information

• Early Bird: For those signing up before June 30th the cost will be $25.
• Regular Pricing: Beginning July 1st, 2026 the price will be $30.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Everyone signing up prior to August 2nd will be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
• Final Pricing: Beginning on August 3rd the price will increase to $35.

Registration Details

• Online Registration: Will be cut off at Noon on August 14th, 2026.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, August 14 from 4:15 P.M. Until 6:45 P.M. in front of Brooklet Elementary School.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, August 15th from 6:00 A.M. until 7:00 A.M. @ Brooklet Elementary School.
• Last Chance Registration: Available at packet pickup at a cost of $35.

Race Capacity

This year’s race will be limited to 400 runners.

About the Run & Course

This year's race will be on the 3rd Saturday of August. The run goes through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is very flat & fast. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycle. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number.
