Event Overview
Please join us for the 17th annual running of the South Effingham NJROTC Cadet 5K.
Race Details
- Date: September 19, 2026
- Time: Race begins at 9:00am
- Registration: Opens at 7:30am
- Location: South Effingham High School, starting at the football stadium
Course Information
The run will travel out the school entrance, down Nease Road, down St John and Hester roads back to the school. It is an ideal race for anyone trying to set a personal best or participating in their first 5K.
Beneficiary
The race benefits the 105 Cadets of the South Effingham NJROTC learning self-discipline while preparing to be outstanding citizens.
Use of Proceeds
- Funding: Proceeds will fund participation in 24 various NJROTC competitions.
- Overnight Trips: 14 overnight trips included.
- Military Visits: 4 military base visits.
- College Visits: 2 college campus visits, 2 summer camps, and one military ball for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
