Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. All events begin and end at the Grand Ledge High School Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).

🕗 Event Schedule

• 1 Mile Run: Starts at 8:00 AM for youth 13 & under on the track.
• 400m Kids Race: Begins at 8:30 AM on the track.
• 5K Race: Starts at 8:45 AM on the track and travels a well-marked course through town.
• Finish: All races finish on the track.

💰 Pricing

• 5K In-Person: $35 until 4/2/25, then $45.
• Virtual 5K: $40 until 4/2/25, then $50.
• 1 Mile Kids Race & 400 yd Dash: $20 until 4/2/25, then $25.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

• Post Race Refreshments: Available for all registrants, plus a chance at race day door prizes.
• 5K Awards: Top 3 male and female winners in each division, finisher medals for all participants.
• 5K Participant Gear: Technical t-shirt and drawstring bag for entries received prior to June 12th, subject to availability.
• Virtual 5K Gear: Similar to in-person participants, mailed to participants starting the week of June 23rd.

👶 Youth Races

• 400m Kids Race: Comet Squeeze Ball for participants, cotton blend t-shirt for entries by June 12th.
• 1 Mile Youth Race: Awards for the top 10 finishers, Comet Squeeze Ball for all, and t-shirts for entries by June 12th.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place on Friday, June 20 from 4:30 PM-7:00 PM at the Sawdon Administration Building, 220 Lamson Street, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 Google Maps and the morning of the race starting at 7:00 AM at the Grand Ledge High School Track & Field Facility.

⏱️ Timing & Results

The race will be timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and live on this website.
