Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K

Event Overview

Join us on October 3, 2026, as we work to raise $18,000 to assist local families facing financial hardship. Every year, the St. Katherine Drexel Conference helps approximately 600 individuals and families, providing critical assistance when it is needed most.

Race Details

• Location: Kings Landing Park, Huntingtown, Maryland
• Event: Friends of the Poor® 5K Walk/Run
• Course: Fast, mostly flat, scenic parkland and wooded trails
• Timing: Professionally timed for both competitive runners and casual participants

Kiddy-K Participation

Children ages 10 and under can participate in our fun-filled Kiddy-K, designed to encourage young runners while supporting a great cause.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Male and Female Finishers, as well as the Top Male and Female Finishers in each age division.

In addition to the race, participants and spectators can enjoy:
