Important Notes

• Registration Warning: Please note: This race sells out, and there are no refunds, no transfers, and no deferrals (except for emergencies)!
• Course Type: The TARC Blue Hills Skyline Trail Run is a gnarly, old school 12K race with approximately 2,300 feet of climbing.
• Terrain: The course is on the Blue Hills Reservation North & South Skyline Trail, featuring rocky and steep terrain that demands your attention, balance, and agility.
• Views: Expect epic staircase climbs, tumbling rock downhills, and classic New England paths with scenic views of the Boston skyline.

Course Information

• Course Description: The course starts at the Blue Hills Ski Area, runs along the Accord Path until hitting the Skyline Trail, leading to a challenging route with aid stations at key points.
• Course Markings: This race is not for the directionally challenged! Participants must be aware of the course beforehand, with only skyline blazes marking the way.
• Aid Stations: The course features one aid station at the road crossing you will pass twice, and hydration packs or handheld bottles are required due to minimal aid available.
• Leave No Trace: Please adhere to Leave No Trace principles during the event to respect the natural surroundings.

Land Acknowledgement

• Indigenous Land: The TARC Blue Hills Skyline Trail Run is held on land home to the Pokanoket Nation, descendants of the Wompanoag people.
• Historical Awareness: Participants are encouraged to educate themselves on the history of the land we will be running on.

Schedule

• 6:30 a.m.: Bib Pick Up Opens in Parking Lot
• 7:20 a.m.: Prerace Briefing
• 7:30 a.m.: Race Start (& Yeti Howl!)
• 11:00 a.m.: Course Closes for All Participants

Parking & Travel

• Parking: Available for participants right at the start/finish area in the parking lot of the Blue Hills Ski Area.
• Carpool: Participants are encouraged to carpool with fellow trail animals.
