Sugar Run supports diabetes research through Breakthrough T1D while encouraging youth athletics.
History of the Sugar Run 5K
- Inception: The first Sugar Run held in 2006 had 37 participants and raised $2,500.
- Progress: Now, 20 years later, the Sugar Run has evolved with the help of faithful supporters.
- Mission: We share Breakthrough T1D's goal to eradicate Type One diabetes.
- Benefit: Proceeds are used for diabetes research through Breakthrough T1D's Fund a Cure.
