Run The Town Pink 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Join Us for a 5K with a Colorful Twist!

• Event Date: October 3, 2026
• Location: 480 River Street, Manistee, MI
• Course: Scenic route along First Street Beach and downtown Manistee.
• Dress Code: Wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Race Format

• Timing: This is an unofficially timed event: runners are urged to keep their own time.
• Medals: All finishers will receive a finishing medal.
• Awards: There will be no age group awards.
• Start/Finish: Near the Manistee Municipal Marina.

1 Mile Remembrance Walk

• Ceremony: Features a prayer honoring those affected by cancer.
• Support: Wear pink to symbolize love and awareness.
• Unity: Help us turn the town pink for this meaningful cause.
• Participation: Open to all community members.

Packet/Bib Pickup

• Race Day: Pickup from 8:00 AM until 8:45 AM: registration remains open until race starts.
• Early Pickup: Available at Manistee Hospital Community Health Center on October 2nd from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, located at 1345 E. Parkdale Ave, Manistee, MI.
• Decoration: Customize your bib with names and designs relevant to your participation.
• Encouragement: Spectators are encouraged to wear pink and join the celebration.

Why We're Doing This

• Beneficiary: Proceeds support Paint the Town Pink, assisting breast cancer patients in Manistee County.
• Tradition: Over a decade of honoring cancer heroes while raising funds and awareness.
• Support: Community contributions have facilitated important medical advancements.
• Funded Items: 3D mammography equipment, a breast biopsy chair, and enhancements to breast health services at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
