Junior Achievement Race to Achieve 5k

Race Overview

• Event: 13th Annual Junior Achievement of the Ocoee Region 5K Race to Achieve
• Date: September 19, 2026
• Location: Greenway Park, Cleveland, TN
• Registration: Begins at 7:00 a.m.: 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk start at 8:00 a.m.

Course Details

• Course: Entirely along the Greenway, no street crossings
• Family-Friendly: Safe for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities
• Proceeds: Benefit Junior Achievement’s programs in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship
• Counties Served: Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, and Polk

Event Logistics

• Parking: Available at Greenway Park and surrounding designated areas
• Restrooms: Located near the start/finish area
• Water Stations: At the start line, turnaround point, and finish line
• Volunteers: Certified in CPR and First Aid will be on site: emergency personnel will also be available

Packet Pickup & Registration

• Early Packet Pickup: September 18, 2026, from 12 PM - 6 PM at Junior Achievement office, 3535 Adkisson Drive Building 15, Cleveland, TN 37312
• Registration: Encourage early registration as prices increase close to the event
• Shirt Guarantee: Race shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for late registrations
• Awards: Given to top overall finishers and in each age group as well as the top team

Participant Guidelines

• Strollers: Welcome, but must start near the back and be mindful of runners
• Dogs: Discouraged, but if brought, must be leashed and under control
• Disruptive Pets: Junior Achievement reserves the right to ask participants to leave if pets are disruptive
• Weather Policy: Event is rain-or-shine: may be altered or canceled for severe weather

• Dress Accordingly: Participants should dress appropriately for weather conditions
