NEON Night 5k Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention

Here we Glow! It’s time for the NEON Night Run/Walk, NAMI Southwest Missouri’s annual event for Suicide Prevention.

Event Details

• Date: September 12, 2026
• Location: 3825 W Farm Rd 146, Springfield, MO
• Event Type: 5k timed event and 1 mile non-timed event
• Activities: Illuminating lights, DJ Will, glow Zone, Photo Booth

Participant Experience

• Unique Items: Participants will receive a unique t-shirt and glow gear.
• Memorial Garden: A place for remembering those lost to suicide through the purchase of a plastic lighted luminary.
• Luminary Purchase: Purchase a luminary to be displayed in the memorial garden at the event. You can customize your luminary "IN MEMORY OF" with your loved one's name. Cost will be $10 each.

Proceeds

100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit NAMI Southwest Missouri and our efforts to help raise awareness about mental illness and suicide prevention.
