About this race
Event Overview
The Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge is a trail endurance event built for runners, ruck athletes, hikers/walkers, and anyone who wants to challenge themselves.
You can choose to run/walk (no weight) or ruck with weight.

The Course
- Distance: A ~5k loop on the trails of Camp Greenough.
- Terrain: A mix of access roads and single track on a fully closed course.
Event Options
- 5K: One loop
- 10K: Two loops
- Relentless 6-Hour Endurance Challenge: Complete as many loops as possible in 6 hours
Relentless Basecamp
The looped format allows participants doing multiple loops to move through a shared central hub - Relentless Basecamp. Feel free to bring extra snacks, chairs, cooler, etc. and set up at Relentless Basecamp. We'll have encouragement, energy, and good vibes.
Aid Stations
There will be one fully stocked aid station with water, electrolytes, and snacks to fuel your effort. It will be located at Relentless Basecamp (the start/finish). So plan on taking any water/fuel you need for each loop with you.
Divisions (All Events)
Choose your division when you register:
- Run: No weight. Run/walk/hike/shuffle - just keep moving.
- Ruck:
- Men: 30 lb
- Women: 20 lb
All ruck weights are dry weight (do not include water).
Scoring & Results
- 5K / 10K: Ranked by fastest finish time.
- 6-Hour Challenge: Ranked by total distance completed. Only complete loops count.
- Tie breaker: fastest final completed loop

- Runners: Who want a simple, well-run trail race.
- Ruck Athletes: Who want a legit course and standards.
- Walkers and Hikers: Who want a beautiful course and to be surrounded by great energy.
- Hybrid Athletes: CrossFitters, gym goers who want to test their fitness.
- Anyone: Who wants to push themselves and have some fun.

- Or just see what you’re capable of
All fitness levels are welcome.
Ruck Standards & Rules
Mandatory ruck weigh-in will take place before the start. Rucks may also be weighed at finish.
Weight Rules
- Required weight: Must be non-consumable and non-wearable.
- Prohibited items: No food, water, or clothing used as required weight.
- Additional gear: (water, food, layers) is allowed but counts as additional weight.
Ruck Setup
- Carrying: Weight must be carried on your back in a traditional ruck/backpack.
- Prohibited gear: Plate carriers are NOT allowed.
- Bag type: No sling bags or duffel bags.
On Course
- You may remove your ruck at any time.
- You MAY NOT make forward progress without it on your back.

- No trekking poles.
