Event Overview

USD Center for Disabilities is excited for our Run Walk & Roll event to return for its 5th year on Saturday, September 12th, 2026! Run Walk & Roll is an inclusive event open to people of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to promote health and wellness for all people in South Dakota, and to have fun while doing it!

Events

• Timed 5k: A competitive event for those seeking a challenge.
• 1-Mile Fun Run: A FREE opportunity to run, walk, or roll.
• Yoga in the Park: Relaxing sessions available for participants.
• Food Truck: Enjoy delicious meals and snacks.

Focus of the Event

Our 2026 event will spotlight the critical role early childhood development plays in shaping lifelong health, learning, and well-being. By bringing together families, professionals, and community members, this inclusive event raises awareness that every child develops differently and emphasizes the importance of early identification, intervention, and support for developmental needs.

Schedule of Events for September 12, 2026

• 8:00 AM: Race day packet pick-up and yoga/stretching session
• 9:00 AM: 5k race start
• 9:45 AM: Yoga/stretching session
• 10:00 AM: Mascot race to kick off the 1-mile fun run, walk & roll start
• 12:00 PM: Event end

Additional Information

• Discount: Available when you purchase 3+ race entries at a time.
• Children's Entry: Children age 12 and younger only $25.
