The Backyard Ultra Format

Saturday — Last Person Standing Challenge

• Premiere Event: Austin's Backyard Ultra is a rugged challenge.
• Format: One 4.2-mile loop with one hour to complete it.
• Cutoff: Miss the cutoff, you're out.
• Course: Anchored by a central start/finish corral.

Sunday — Memorial Day Remembrance Run

• Purpose: Cover ground in honor of someone.
• Options: Run, ruck, or walk.
• Same Course: Experience the trail as Backyard Ultra athletes.
• Distances: Marathon and Half Marathon offered.

Awards

• Finisher Woodallion: Complete at least one loop.
• Half Marathon Medal: Complete 13.1 miles.
• Marathon Medal: Complete 26.2 miles.
• Last Person Standing: Award for overall winner.
