🏞️ Race Overview

• Location: Join us in Burnet, TX for a totally unique night-time race at the Spider Mountain Bike Park!
• Environment: This venue is home to Texas' first & only lift-served mountain bike park.
• Focus: Hone your climbing & descending trail running skills, and dial in your night time running technique & nutrition.
• Preparation: This race is a perfect way to get ready for Summer events like Capt’n Karl's Night Time Trail Series.

🎁 Swag and Registration

• Deadline: April 24 is the deadline to get a shirt.
• Post-Deadline: If you register after April 24, you will get some cool Race Swag!
• Variety: Swag could include items like a trucker cap, neck gaiter, etc.
• Experience: Everyone that runs gets to experience this extraordinary course & the super cool quad chair lift!

⏱️ Start Options

• Mass Start: We will have a mass start per distance, sometimes starting more than one distance together.
• Casual Entry: The start line will be open longer for those who want to avoid the mass start.
• Options: Enjoy a more casual entry onto the course without caring about overall awards.

🕒 Timing and Scoring

• Gun Time: Time from the mass start to when you cross the finish line: used for official rankings and awards.
• Chip Time: Time from when you cross the start line to finish: shows actual time covered but not used for awards.
• Results: You can see both times in the results to understand your performance.

📅 Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Saturday 5:30pm - 8:15pm
• Pre-Race Briefing: Saturday at 6:30 pm
• Mass Start: Gun timed mass start at 7:00 PM for 6hr, 9hr, 12hr, Relay.
• Youth Mile: Starts at 6:30pm: parents ride the chairlift with their child to the start.

🌟 Special Instructions

The Youth Mile will start at 6:30pm, and parents are required to ride the chairlift with their child, ensuring a safe and fun experience for all. Volunteers will guide children along the course.
