Join us for the 39th annual Salmon Run
The Salmon Run returns to Bend, Oregon on April 17, 2027.
Race Distances
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 10K: A challenging distance for intermediate runners
- 5K: A great option for beginners and families
- Scenic Courses: All courses weave along the beautiful Deschutes River on trails and some pavement
Event Highlights
- Spring Race: One of the first running events of the season
- Scenic Trails: Traversing dirt and paved trails amidst junipers and pines
- Finish Location: All races finish on the lawn of Riverbend Park
- Make a Weekend: Enjoy the beauty of Bend, Oregon
Course Details
- Half Marathon: 75% paved sidewalks and 25% trail
- 10K: 80% paved sidewalks and 20% trail
- 5K: 65% paved sidewalks and 35% trail
- Course Marking: All courses will be marked with mile markers and directional arrows
Finish Line Festivities
- Post-Race Party: Enjoy delicious food and beverages, including beer
- Music: Enjoy live music as you celebrate
- Awards: Gifts for top three male and female finishers in open and master’s categories
- Ribbons: Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in age-group finishers
Parking for Race Day
- Limited Parking: Available at Riverbend Park on race day
- Carpool Recommendation: We highly recommend carpooling
- Parking Attendants: Will direct you as you arrive
- Additional Parking: Available on City streets
