Event Overview
West Davidson High School's Athletic Department is proud to host a Dragon Dash 5K and Little Lizard 1K, a community event dedicated to supporting the growth and success of our student-athletes. Proceeds from the race will help provide essential resources, equipment, facility improvements, and opportunities that directly benefit our athletic programs.
By participating, sponsoring, donating, or cheering on our runners, you are investing in the young people who represent our community with pride, dedication, and perseverance. Together, we can ensure that West Davidson athletes have the tools and support they need to compete, grow, and succeed both on and off the field.

5K Course Overview
- Course Length: This course covers 3.1 miles and is relatively flat.
- Course Features: It is a two-loop course that starts and ends on the track, featuring a wooded trail, grassy areas, crushed gravel, and paved surfaces.
- Safety Notice: This course is not suitable for strollers.
- Dogs: For the safety of all participants and functionality of races, dogs are not welcome during either the 5K or Little Lizard 1K.
Awards
- 5K Men: Overall top ten men for the 5K
- 5K Women: Overall top ten women for the 5K
- 1K Boys: Overall top 3 boys for Little Lizard 1K
- 1K Girls: Overall top 3 girls for Little Lizard 1K
All 5K participants will be entered in a drawing for prizes, including but not limited to one 2026 WDHS football season pass, priority football parking, and gift certificates to Ralph Baker's Shoes.
