About this race
Event Overview
Help Us Celebrate! It’s time for the 41st Annual Barbecue Festival, and we have planned a great 5K event in celebration of Barbecue Month.
Proceeds
- Beneficiary: All Hawg Run proceeds go directly to providing scholarships for after school programs, summer camp, youth sports, swim lessons and YMCA memberships for deserving children and families in our community.
Course Location & Description
- Starting Point: The event will start at the YMCA - 119 W. 3rd Avenue.
- Route: The route goes through neighborhoods to Grimes Park and back to the Y.
Registration & Parking
- Online Registration: All registration is online at hawgrun.com.
- Same-Day Registration: Same day registration will be located in the parking lot of J. Smith Young YMCA at 119 W. 3rd Ave.
- Parking: Because the race is festival morning, parking will be at a premium and most lots will charge $5.00.
- Additional Notes: Please allow extra time to navigate the detours the morning of the race.
T-Shirt Information
*All Pre-registered Entries received before 9/28 Include Official Hawg Run T-Shirt. T-Shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after 9/28.
