About this race
Run for 100‑4‑HOPE 5K
The Run for 100‑4‑HOPE 5K is more than a race. It’s the official launch of the 100‑4‑HOPE Campaign, a community movement created to ensure that no teenage girl or family is ever turned away from House of Hope Piedmont due to financial hardship.
About House of Hope Piedmont
- Mission: House of Hope Piedmont is a Christian nonprofit ministry serving teenage girls ages 13–17 and their families throughout the Piedmont Triad.
- Focus: Through our residential program and on‑site school, Hope Academy, we focus on the whole teenager, spiritually, emotionally, academically, and physically.
- Programs: Every girl in our care experiences the transforming power of love, receives individualized counseling, participates in therapeutic activities, and works through a structured six‑phase healing program.
- Family Involvement: Families are deeply involved as well, receiving weekly counseling and skill‑building sessions designed to restore the family unit.
Affordability
- Cost: We are one of the lowest‑cost programs in the state, charging families only $1,500 per month (compared to the NC average of $5,000 and the national average of $8,000).
- Funding: As a 100% donation‑funded ministry, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue providing hope, healing, and restoration.
About the 100‑4‑HOPE Campaign
- Pledge: The 100‑4‑HOPE Campaign invites supporters to pledge $100 four times a year, creating an ongoing scholarship fund that helps cover operational costs and expands staffing.
- Support: This campaign ensures that families facing financial hardship never lose access to the help they need.
- Partnership: Developed in partnership with the DCHS Heroes of Hope Club, who are co‑hosting this event in Davie County.
- Impact: By participating in this 5K, you are helping launch a long‑term movement of hope and healing.
Community Event Experience
- Focus: The Run for 100‑4‑HOPE 5K is designed to be a community‑focused morning of movement, encouragement, and impact.
- Post-Race Event: Following the 5K run/walk, participants are invited to stay on campus for a post‑race gathering at Davie County High School.
- Collaborations: We are coordinating with local nonprofits, community partners, and small businesses to create a family‑friendly atmosphere.
- Details: Final details will be announced as partners are confirmed.
Shirt Information
- Guarantee: Shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register by October 23, 2026.
- Availability: Registrations after this date may still select a shirt size, but shirts are not guaranteed.
- Distribution: Shirts will be distributed based on available inventory, and final shirt quantities and sizes will be determined once our vendor turnaround time is confirmed.
- Updates: Updates will be posted as details are finalized.
