Mt. Hope Church 5K Run for Missions

Race Overview

• Event: 11th Annual Mt. Hope Church 5K Run for Missions - Run/Walk & 1/2 Mile Fun Run
• Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• Location: Salisbury Community Park - 935 Hurley School Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147
• Registration: Early sign-up to save $5! Race day fee is $35.

Proceeds

• Purpose: All funds raised are used to support missions (local and abroad).
• Initiatives: Feeding the homeless, back-to-school supplies, toy drives, pregnancy support, and local outreach events.

Race Schedule

• Race-Day Registration: 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. (Cost: $35 for 5K, $10 for fun run)
• 5K Run for Missions: 9:00 a.m.
• Fun Run: 10:00 a.m.

Awards

• 5K Run/Walk: Top overall male and female runners will receive a prize.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group, male and female, will receive a medallion.
• 5K Age Groups: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
• 1/2 Mile Fun Run: Top 3 overall age 10 and under. All participants will receive medals.

Shirts

• Guarantee: T-shirts are guaranteed for those registering by March 1 or before.
• Availability: T-Shirts will be available on race day while supplies last.

Course Information

• Certification: Course is certified by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
• Location: Held at Salisbury Community Park, 935 Hurley School Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147.
