🏁 Event Overview
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) proudly presents the Lights & Sirens Race for Hope for Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC). The NCSHP, through their involvement with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina, will host the second ever community fundraising event to feature a 5K run and 1.5-mile fun run at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. All participants will have the unique opportunity to run on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track in support of nearly 53,000 registered SONC athletes and Unified partners.
🎁 Special Offer
The first 250 registered 5K participants will receive a free voucher for the spectacular Christmas Light Show at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fun Run participants are not included in this promotion.

- Packet Pick Up: Begins 8:00 AM Race Day
- Race Start Time: 5K & Fun Run Begins 10:00 AM
- Fun Run Details: 1.5-mile non-chipped run/walk around the race track (perfect for families and walkers)
