About this race
Event Overview
The Slow &: Pokey Fun Run is the only race where taking your time is encouraged! Join us on September 13, 2026, at Green Isle Park in Allouez for a fun-filled 5K walk/run designed for all ages, abilities, and energy levels.
Event Details
- Location: 900 Greene Ave, Green Bay, WI
- Date: September 13, 2026
- Distance: 5K walk/run
- Link: Slow & Pokey Fun Run Registration
Participation Benefits
Whether you're running, jogging, strolling, or meandering your way to the finish line, this event is all about movement, laughter, and community. And for our extra slow pokes (or little legs!), we’ll offer a shorter route option, because fun should be accessible to everyone.
Post-Event Activities
- Food: After the walk/run, grab a bite from the Captain Quesadilla food truck.
- Purpose: All food purchases benefit the Hemophilia Outreach Center.
- Community: Connect with others and continue supporting local families affected by bleeding disorders.
Support and Impact
Proceeds from the event support the Hemophilia Outreach Center (HOC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders such as hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. Through education, advocacy, support programs, community events, and connections to resources, HOC helps people navigate the challenges of living with bleeding disorders while building a strong and supportive community.
By participating in the Slow &: Pokey Fun Run, you’ll not only enjoy a fun day outdoors, but you’ll also help ensure that individuals and families impacted by bleeding disorders continue to receive the support, education, and services they need.

- T-Shirt: An event t-shirt is included with registration.
