- Service: He selflessly gave his life protecting the students and community he swore to serve.
- Family: Rick leaves behind his loving wife, Jana Haggard, and his daughters who were his world.
Event Support
- Host: This event is proudly hosted and supported by Lee County Sheriff Jim H. Johnson and his staff.
- Proceeds Handling: All proceeds from this event will be handled through the CREATE Foundation.
- Purpose: Proceeds will be used to assist the family with expenses and travel to the National Fallen Officer Memorial where Rick’s name will be revealed.
- Scholarship: A scholarship in Rick’s memory will also be established.
