2026 Hull of a Race for Parkinson’s

Race Highlights

• Record Fundraising: In 2025, Hull of a Race set a fundraising record, donating a historic $26,000 to the St. Louis Area American Parkinson Disease Association.
• Participant Engagement: We had 241 runners registered for our race!
• Comfortable Amenities: Improvements included a comfortable viewing area, seating, and cooling fans for our Parkinson’s Heroes.
• Memorial Badges: We will continue providing memorial or honor name badges for runners to wear, celebrating our Parkinson’s heroes.

Involvement Opportunities

Race Events

• Types of Races: Kids 1/4 mile fun run, Timed 5k/10k Competitive Race, Timed 5k Fun Walk/Wheel Chair/Baby Stroller Roll.
• Running Restrictions: Running is prohibited in the 5k Fun Walk/Wheel Chair/Baby Stroller Roll due to timing disadvantages.
• Event Schedule: The 5k/10k competitive races and 5k Fun Walk start at 8:00 a.m., ending at 9:30 a.m. (CDT). The kids 1/4 mile fun run starts at 7:45 a.m.
• Location: All timed events start/end at 290 Main Street at the corner of Main & Dixie streets in downtown Hull, 62343.

Course Information

• Certified Courses: The 5K/10K courses are USATF Certified and weave through the village of Hull and surrounding countryside.
• Chip Timing: The events are professionally chip timed by It's Race Time, Inc.
• Awards: Trophies, Medallions, & Ribbons will be announced following the adult race.
• Age Groups: Various categories for Fun Run and 5K/10K Events ranging from 9 & under to 80+.

Registration Details

• Shirt Availability: Shirts guaranteed to those signing up by August 1. Not guaranteed after.
• Entry Fees:
  • $10 for Kids Fun Run before August 1 ($15 after).
  • $30 for 5K/10K before August 1 ($35 after).
  • $100 for a family of 4 for 5K/10K before August 1 ($115 after).
  • $125 for a family of 5 for 5K/10K before August 1 ($145 after).
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided—race will run in rain or shine, but lightning may cause delays or cancellations.
• Packet Pickup: Packets available for pre-registered participants on August 14 from 6pm to 7pm and from 6:45am-8:00am on race day.

• Raffles: Tickets for $1 each: write your name and phone # on the back. Raffle held after the adult race.
