• Location: 3131 Arthur Teague Pkwy Boat Launch at the foot of Shreveport Barksdale Bridge

About American Heritage Girls:

• Mission: A faith-based character development and leadership organization for girls ages 5 to 17.
• Focus Areas: Helps girls grow in faith, service, citizenship, life skills, confidence, and outdoor adventure.
• Alternative: Seen as a Christ-centered alternative to traditional scouting programs.
• Values: Emphasizes family involvement and biblical values to foster women of integrity.

Purpose of the 5k:

The 5k is our primary fundraiser and supplies our troop with the necessary funds for community service projects, equipment, materials, and events to further contribute to the Godly service of our local troop.

Awards:

MEDALS for 1ST & 2ND places for MALE & FEMALE in the following categories:

• Age Groups: 14 & Under
• Categories: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Registration Fees:

• Early Bird: ONLY $20 THRU Sept. 30th at Midnight!
• Regular Registration: $25 from October 1st until October 31st.
• Late Registration: $30 from November 1st through November 11th.
• Final Registration: $35 from November 12th through Race Day.

Shirt Sizes:

Shirt sizes not guaranteed if registering after NOVEMBER 8th 11:59pm. We WILL have a LIMITED number of extras, but cannot GUARANTEE your specific size or availability.

Race Packet Pickup:

Race packet pickup will be at our Charter Church on Friday, NOV 20th from 12:30pm - 6:00pm at:

• Location: Barksdale Community Church
• Address: 1465 Patricia Dr., Bossier City, LA 71112.

You may also pick up your race packet on race morning at the race site starting at 6:30 am.

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walking pace only. Absolutely NO inline skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
