8:00 a.m. – 3131 Arthur Teague PKWY Boat Launch at the foot of Shreveport Barksdale Bridge.

About American Heritage Girls:

• Organization: American Heritage Girls is a faith-based character development and leadership organization for girls ages 5 to 17.
• Focus: The program helps girls grow in faith, service, citizenship, life skills, confidence, and outdoor adventure.
• Alternative: It is often seen as a Christ-centered alternative to traditional scouting programs.
• Emphasis: There is a strong emphasis on family involvement, biblical values, and helping girls become women of integrity.

Fundraising:

The 5k is our primary fundraiser and supplies our troop with the necessary funds for community service projects, equipment, materials, and events to further contribute to the Godly service of our local troop.

Medals:

MEDALS for 1ST & 2ND places for MALE & FEMALE in the following categories:

• Age Categories: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60+

Registration:

• Early Bird: Early Bird Special - ONLY $20 THRU Sept. 30th at Midnight.
• Standard: Registration is $25 October 1st until October 31st.
• Late Registration: Registration from November 1st through November 11th is $30.
• Race Day: Registration from November 12th through Race Day is $35.

Shirt Sizes:

Shirt sizes not guaranteed if registering after NOVEMBER 8th 11:59pm. We WILL have a LIMITED number of extras, we just cannot GUARANTEE your specific size or availability. They will be on a first come first serve basis AFTER the cutoff date.

Race Packet Pickup:

• Date: Friday NOV 20th 12:30pm - 6:00pm
• Location: Barksdale Community Church, 1465 Patricia Dr., Bossier City, La 71112.
• Morning Pickup: You may also pick up your race packet on race morning at the race site starting at 6:30 am.

Special Notes:

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand-pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
