About this race
Join Colonial Sports as we host the 3rd Annual "In Honor of!" 5K Run/Walk
This race provides an opportunity for all of us to pay our respects, remember, honor and thank those Americans who gave their lives serving our country. The race course uses the USATF Virginia Capitol Trail Landfall 5k certified course, VA22029RT. Runners and walkers will start and finish near the 0 mile marker on the Capitol Trail and run a flat and fast course through beautiful Landfall.
Fife and Drum will play Taps to kick-off the race in honor of those who sacrificed All!
Participants will receive:
- Custom Performance T: Race T and size guaranteed if signed up by May 11th, 2026
- Swag Bag: Includes various goodies
- Post Race Celebration: Pizza, beer (21 and older participants only), and other refreshments for all ages
- Music: Enjoy tunes by DJ Dreux
First 200 Finishers receive a memorable custom Finisher Medal.
Awards
Awards are given to:
- Top three men and women: Overall finishers
- Top male and female masters: Age 40 and over
- Age Groups: Top three men and women in age groups 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29 up to 80 and over
- Competitive Walk: Top five men and women
