- Excitement: The Alumni Society of Christopher Newport University is excited to bring back the Captains 5K!
- Scenic Route: This scenic run through CNU’s beautiful campus gives participants the chance to experience new additions, familiar landmarks, and the signature landscaping that makes Christopher Newport feel like home.
- Participation: Everyone is welcome to participate – alumni, students, faculty, neighbors, friends, family, and anyone who wants to enjoy a great Spring morning on campus.
- Captains Dash: To make sure there’s something for everyone, we’re also hosting the Captains Dash – a shorter, fun, family-friendly race for kids of all ages.
Post-Race Celebration
- Blue & Silver Bash: After you cross the finish line, stick around for the Blue & Silver Bash, our post-race celebration on the lawn at the Alumni House.
- Community: It’s the perfect chance to reconnect with fellow Captains and enjoy time with the broader CNU community.
- Support: By participating, you’re helping to strengthen the Captain community for years to come.
