Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Join us for the 5th ANNUAL Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser, hosted by the Fairfield Foundation.
• Date: November 11, 2025.
• Location: Machicomoco State Park, Gloucester, Virginia.
• Course: Scenic, flat, paved 3.1-mile loop.

🍂 Course and Amenities

• Water Stations: Available at the start/finish line and halfway point.
• Restrooms: Public restrooms will be available near the race finish.
• Purpose: All race proceeds fund the restoration of the Timberneck House.

👕 Registration Details

• Deadline: Registrations after November 8, 2025 cannot be guaranteed a shirt at the event.
• Online Registration: Only, with no race day registration available.
• Costs: Registration cost includes the $5 state park entrance fee.
• Free Entry: Children under 16 may race for free but will not receive a race shirt unless purchased separately.

🎖️ Post-Race Activities

• Check-in: from 8:15-9:15 am before the race start.
• Medal Ceremony: Stay after the race for medals, snacks, and to enjoy the beautiful setting.
• Age Categories: Medals for overall top finishers and top finishers in specific age categories.

🌐 Virtual Race Option

• Participation: Sign up for the VIRTUAL Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k and run anytime between November 12-21.
• Results: Submit results by November 21 to compare with in-person competitors.
• Swag: Virtual participants will be mailed a race shirt and race swag.
• Social Media: Share pictures with us using #timberneckturkeytrot!
