2026 Larchmont R.A.T. Race

Event Overview

For years, the Larchmont Elementary School R.A.T. “Run At Twilight” Race has been a favorite fall tradition for the student body and neighborhood to help raise money for the school and build a sense of community throughout the neighborhood.

This year's event will be a new chapter in that tradition - a 1K fun run and Pawty on the campus of Larchmont Elementary School.

Race Details

• 1K Fun Run: Race Start Time: 5:45PM
• Race Course: The Larchmont R.A.T. Race 1K Fun Run
• Course Map: Map to be posted soon

Parking

• Free Parking: Plenty of free parking available throughout the Larchmont neighborhood.

Registration

• Included: Registration includes race bib, official race shirt, race "medal", great celebrations and more!
• Awards: There will be awards for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers.
• Participant Limit: Registration will be capped off at 1,000 participants.

Cost

• Early Registration: 1K Fun Run: $20 (registration by September 11, 2026)
• Late Registration: $25 (registration on or after September 11, 2026)

Weather Policy

This is a RAIN or SHINE event. In the event of severe weather, a decision will be made by Friday (September 25) afternoon. Please check out our Larchmont RAT Race Facebook or Instagram pages for updates as the event gets closer.

If the race is canceled, there will NOT be a makeup time/location. Instead, the race would transition to an in-school event, for Larchmont Students only, at a future date (details to come if needed). Registration is non-refundable.

Packet Pick-Up

• Thursday Pick-Up: Packet pick-up will be Thursday September 24th at Larchmont Elementary School by the bus loop from 2:00PM - 6:00PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available at the Larchmont Elementary School bus loop Friday September 25th from 2:00PM - 4:30PM.

Proceeds

Proceeds from the event benefit the Larchmont Elementary School PTA.
