Larchmont R.A.T. Race Overview

For years, the Larchmont Elementary School R.A.T. “Run At Twilight” Race has been a favorite fall tradition for the student body and neighborhood to help raise money for the school and build a sense of community throughout the neighborhood.

This year's event will be a new chapter in that tradition - a 1 mile fun run and Pawty on the campus of Larchmont Elementary School.

Race Details

• 1 Mile Run: Race Start Time: 5:45PM
• The Race Course: The Larchmont R.A.T. Race 1 Mile Kids Run
• 1-Mile Course Map: Map to be posted soon

Parking Information

• Parking Availability: Plenty of free parking available throughout the Larchmont neighborhood.

Registration

• Registration Includes: race bib, official race shirt, race "medal", great celebrations and more!
• Awards: There will be awards for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers
• Participant Limit: Registration will be capped off at 1,000 participants
• Age Restriction: ALL RUNNERS AGES 6 AND UNDER MUST HAVE A REGISTERED PARENT/GUARDIAN ON THE COURSE: SEE PARENT REGISTRATION INFO BELOW

Cost

• 1 Mile Run: $25 (registration by September 11, 2026): $30 (registration on or after September 11, 2026)
• Parent/Guardian Registration: (for registrants ages 6 & under ONLY) $5
• Race Shirt: Not included with parent/guardian registration but they are available for purchase at packet pick-up or the event
• Event Status: This is a RAIN or SHINE event. Updates will be available on the Larchmont RAT Race Facebook or Instagram pages as the event gets closer.

Cancellation Policy

If the race is canceled, there will NOT be a makeup time/location. Instead, the race would transition to an in-school event for Larchmont Students only. Race medals and shirts would still be given out to students and available for pick up to everyone else (details to come if needed). Registration is non-refundable.

Packet Pick-Up

• Dates: Packet pick-up will be Thursday September 24th at Larchmont Elementary School by the bus loop from 2:00PM - 6:00PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available at the Larchmont Elementary School bus loop Friday September 25th from 2:00PM - 4:30PM.

Proceeds

Proceeds from the event benefit the Larchmont Elementary School PTA.
