Tidewater Strider Dismal Swamp 50K / Marathon /Half Marathon/50K Relay

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 6th Annual Dismal Swamp Race

Join us for the Dismal Swamp /50K/ Marathon/Half Marathon (New this Year) and 50K Relay!

🏆 Course Highlights

• USATF Certified Course: Ranked the Fastest course in Virginia and 47th Fastest in the US by Findmymarathon.com!
• Start Times: 50K & Relay at 7:00 am, Marathon/Half Marathon at 7:30 am.
• Distance Details: 50K is 4 loops, Marathon is 2 loops of 6.55 miles, and Half Marathon is 1 loop.
• Time Limit: 9-hour course limit (closes at 4 PM).

🥤 Fluids and Food

• Aid Stations: 1 full aid station at start/finish after every loop with food, water, and nutrition drinks!
• Water Stations: Set up on the course for Marathon runners (9 times) and Half Marathon runners (4 times).
• Manned Stations: Only during the Marathon: an unmanned water station will be kept for the Ultra race post-Marathon.
• Nutrition: Available at the aid stations throughout the course.

🎖️ Amenities & Post-Race

• Finishers Items: Medals, Hoodie Sweatshirt for 50K, long-sleeve shirt for Marathon & Half Marathon, and Finishers items.
• BQ Shirt: Awarded to all runners who qualify for Boston!
• Beer Garden: Open from 9 am-2 pm, redeem drinks at Garage Brewery if finishing after hours.
• Food: Enjoy pizza at the finish line!

⏰ Time Limits

• Start Times: 50K & 50K Relay at 7 am: Full Marathon & Half Marathon at 7:30 AM.
• Finish Line: Closes at 4 PM.

🏅 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three males and females overall, as well as age-group awards in the 50K.
• Marathon & Half: Awards for top three males and females overall and by 10-year age groups.

📝 Registration

• Race Day Registration: Open up to the Race Start.
• Discounts: Club membership and Legacy runners will receive discounts automatically at checkout.
• No Paper Forms: Only online registration available.

📦 Packet Pickup

• When: Starting at 6:15 am until the Marathon & Half Marathon start.

👥 50K Relay

• Team Registration: First member to register should sign up the team name.
• Team Size: Anywhere from 2 to 4 members on your team!

🏅 Elite Field

• Eligibility: To receive a Comp Elite Entry, runners must have run below specified times in the last 2 years.
