Purpose of the Race
- Fundraising: This event supports the Road to Hope.
- Honoring Officers: We will honor Chesapeake officers Tim Schock and Jarrod Shivers, who were killed in the line of duty.
- Cultivating Community: Join us for a community event that combines physical activity with a meaningful cause.
- Experience: Participants will have the chance to cool off by taking the Cold Water Challenge at the end of the race.
Safety Measures
- Support: Chesapeake Police and Fire divers will be present for safety throughout the event.
- Preparation: Participants are encouraged to prepare for the cold water experience.
- Environment: Oak Grove Lake Park provides a safe venue for both running and cooling off.

- Who We Are: Team Chesapeake is part of Law Enforcement United, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
- Initiatives: We fundraise for the Road to Hope, a 250-mile bike ride to honor the fallen and remember survivors.
