Bunny Hop 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run

Event Announcement

The Portsmouth Museums Foundation is pleased to announce our 12th Annual Bunny Hop 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run which will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2027, in support of The Children’s Museum of Virginia!

Race Course

• Gather Together: It's time to gather up family and friends and enjoy a flat, fast, picturesque course along the Portsmouth waterfront.

Post-Race Celebration

• Activities: After the 5K, join us in the Portsmouth Pavilion for fun family activities, dancing, refreshments and the award ceremony!

• Date: Saturday, April 3, 2027
• Time: 1 Mile begins at 8:00 am
• 5K Walk/Run: Begins at 8:30 am

Packet Pick-Up

• Early Packet Pick-up: Friday, April 2, 2027, from 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of Virginia.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 a.m.: Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens at Portsmouth Pavilion, 16 Crawford Circle in Portsmouth, VA.
• 7:40 a.m.: Registration and Packet Pick-up for 1 Mile Family Fun Run Closes.
• 8:00 a.m.: 1 Mile Family Fun Run Begins.
• 8:10 a.m.: Registration and Packet Pick-up for 5K Closes.
• 8:30 a.m: 5K Walk Begins.
• 8:30 a.m. - 5K Run Begins.
