🏃‍♂️ Course Change Announcement

• Notice: Due to construction and road closure on Emery Street, we cannot run our normal route this year.
• Adjustments: We have made adjustments to the course and think this will become a new favorite route.
• Distance: This new course will add a little distance meaning our “5k” is closer to 3.4 miles.
• Course Records: With a new course and distance, there will be no new course record this year.

🎉 Event Details

• Event: The 9th annual Jamaco River Run and Post-Race celebration will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
• Activities: This is a fun, family-friendly day complete with a Kid's Fun Run, a USATF certified & sanctioned 5K road race, and a post-race event with live music, a craft beer tent, burgers and dogs, activities for the kids, award ceremony, and an amazing prize raffle.
• Registration: Registration & Bib Pickup will begin at 8am at Waterhouse Field (74 E. Main St, Merrimac, MA).
• Starting Times: The Kids Fun Run kicks off at 9am followed by the 5K walk/run at 10am.

🐾 Partnership with Sweet Paws Rescue

• Organization: We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Sweet Paws Rescue for this year's race!
• Mission: Sweet Paws Rescue is a local non-profit animal rescue based in Groveland, focused on rescuing animals in need.
• Impact: Since 2011, they have rescued close to 22,000 animals, providing vital services and care.
• Community Support: We hope this partnership will make 2025 our best year yet as we give back to our local community.

• Cups and Bags: The first 200 registrants will receive a custom commemorative t-shirt, a swag bag, and a free beer (21+).
• Location: Free parking is available on site.
• Live Music: Enjoy live music and various activities at the post-race event.
