Jamaco River Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: 9th annual Jamaco River Run and Post-Race celebration
• Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025
• Location: Waterhouse Field, 74 E. Main St, Merrimac, MA
• Schedule: Registration & Bib Pickup begins at 8am, Kid's Fun Run at 9am, 5K walk/run at 10am

🚧 Course Change Announcement

• Adjustment: Due to construction and road closure on Emery Street, the course has been modified.
• Experience: Enjoy a bit more time along the river and run through beautiful downtown Merrimac.
• Distance: The "5k" will now be closer to 3.4 miles, meaning no new course record this year.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• Activities: Live music, craft beer tent, burgers and dogs
• Kids: Activities for the kids and an award ceremony
• Prizes: Amazing prize raffle
• Registrants: First 200 participants receive a custom commemorative t-shirt, a swag bag, and a free beer (21+).

🐾 Partnership with Sweet Paws Rescue

• Organization: Sweet Paws Rescue (SPR), a local non-profit animal rescue based in Groveland.
• Mission: Rescues close to 22,000 animals since 2011, providing care for abandoned and displaced animals.
• Impact: Offering love, food, basic veterinary care, and life-sustaining treatments.
• Goal: To make 2025 the best year yet while giving back to the local community.
