Purpose
- Advancing Mental Health: Promoting awareness and understanding in minority and underserved communities.
- Providing Resources: Offering hope and self-reliance to individuals affected by mental health challenges.
- Compassion: Encouraging empathy and support for those struggling with related addictions.
Course Information
- Course Description: A challenging, accurately measured 5K run through Washington Lake Park.
- Park Size: Spanning 330 acres, it is the largest municipal park in New Jersey.
- Dedication: The park was officially dedicated in 1992 with funding from municipal sources and NJ Green Acres Program.
Timing and Registration
- Timing: Our race is accurately timed using chip timing with jbsportstiming.com.
- 1 Mile Walk: The walk will not be timed.
- Start & Finish: Race will begin near the Amphitheater.
- Parking: Available in Lot E, closest to the Amphitheater.
Registration Fees
- Early Registration: $25.00 until January 31, 2026.
- Late Registration: $30.00 from February 1, 2026 - March 17, 2026.
- Final Registration: $35.00 from March 18, 2026 to 8 PM on May 1, 2026.
- Day-of Registration: $40, begins at 8:00 AM.
Shirts and Prizes
- Shirt Guarantee: Shirts guaranteed for pre-registered runners signing up by April 26, 2026.
- Remaining Shirts: Available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Cash Prizes: $50 for the first place overall male and female winners.
- Age Group Awards: Prizes for the top male and female finishers in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Winners Information
- Overall Winners: Determined based on gun time.
- Age Group Finishers: Results based on chip time.
