The THIRD edition of the JACKALOPE RACE will take place in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, October 17th and 18th, 2026. NEW sections added to the course and a TRAIL RUN version is available for 2026!
Race Location and Course
- Location: County Rd B059, Las Cruces, NM
- Course: Begins in south Doña Ana County from Mesquite, heading north towards Las Cruces, Tortugas Mountain, and the Sierra Vista Trail back.
- Similarities: The same course for TRAIL, MTB, and GRAVEL.
- Podium: Top 3 men and women in each distance, category (TRAIL/MTB/GRAVEL), and age group (under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).

- Cost: $65.00
- Race Time: 8:00 AM

TRAIL RUN Details
The TRAIL RUN race is scheduled on Saturday the 17th of October. Two distances available:
- Distance 1: 20K (12 miles)
- Distance 2: 47K (29 miles)
MTB and GRAVEL Race Details
The MTB and GRAVEL race is scheduled on Sunday the 19th of October. Three distances available:
- Beginner's Loop: 12 miles
- Medium Course: 29 miles
- Full Course: 42 miles
- Category: Same course for MTB and GRAVEL riders - different category (flat bars versus drop bars).
