The Grind is a rolling out and back road countryside race held in Washington County, Indiana with a steep "Grind" hill at the start. (located approximately 5 miles south of Salem)

Registration Fees

• Fees: $25 with shirt or $20 without shirt until August 30
• September Pricing: $25 with no shirt guarantee
• Shirt Order Deadline: Must be ordered by August 24, 2026, for guarantee
• Availability: Additional shirts might be available race day on a first-come basis

• Event Type: This is a Mag 7 Race. Please note, if you register for the walk division, you are required to walk the entire race: if you run, skip, hop, etc., for any portion of the race, please modify your registration to run
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to Friends of Beck's Mill
• Historical Note: Thank you for supporting Beck's Mill! The Beck family built their first mill on this historic site in 1808. Their third mill still remains.
• Community Impact: The Grind 5K is the mill's largest annual fundraiser, aiding in the efforts of volunteers to enhance visitor experiences every year
