• Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
• 5k: 3.1 Miles
• Kids Marathon: 1.2 Miles (26.2 total)

Start Times

• Half Marathon: 8:00 a.m.
• 5k: 9:30 a.m.
• Kids Marathon: 10:00 a.m.

Packet Pickup

• Location: Downtown Provo (pending)
• ID Required: Show a valid ID for packet pickup.
• Half Marathon: Must pick up packets at packet pickup: no race day pickup.
• 5k Packets: Available on race morning from 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. at 3470 N. University Ave.

Start and Finish Locations

• Half Marathon: Starts at South Fork Park and ends in downtown Provo.
• 5k: Starts at 3470 N. University Ave. and finishes in downtown Provo.

Bus Pickup for Half Marathon

• Mandatory: Half marathoners must ride buses to the start line.
• Timing: Buses will pick up from 5:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
• Early Risers Prize: Eligible for a giveaway!
• Pickup Location: Downtown Provo Compound (address will update shortly).

5k Runners Transportation

• Transportation: 5k runners do not need to ride the bus.
• 8:30-9:15 a.m.: Shuttle available at the finish line for transport back.

Clothing Bag Drop

• Bus Service: Available at the half marathon start line for clothing bags.
• Label Bags: Clearly label your bag with your bib number.
• Drop Boxes: Located at the first two water stations.
• Note: Use bag service at your own risk: Run13 is not responsible for lost items.

Race Closures and Awards

• Time Limit: Courses close at 11:00 a.m.: police support ends at noon.
• Awards Ceremony: Approximately 11:00 a.m. for overall winners.
• Awards: Cash prizes for overall winners and top three in each age division.
• Medals: Custom medals for all finishers.

Water and Aid Stations

• Half Marathon Stations: 6 water/refill and aid stations along the route.
• 5k Stations: 1 water/refill station on the course.
• Finish Line: Plenty of Dasani water available.

Elevation Change

• Half Marathon: Net elevation drop of approximately 900 feet.
• 5k: Net elevation drop of approximately 100 feet.

Parking Instructions

• Half Marathon: Park at Zions Bank parking structure or nearby government buildings.
• Warning: Do NOT park in the Post Office lot: your car will be towed.
• 5k Runners: Park near the 5k start line at 3300 N. University Ave.
• Bus Shuttle: Available for 5k runners at the finish line to return to vehicles.

Post-Race Services

• Medical Support: Available at the Finish Line Compound and aid stations.
• Massage Therapy: Provided to help relax muscles.
• Refreshments: Post-race food options available based on health regulations.
• Portable Bathrooms: Located at the Start, Finish, and every 3 miles along the course.

Race Rules and Regulations

• Registration: All runners must register to run the course.
• Music Devices: Allowed during the race.
• Timing Chips: Attached to registration bibs for ease of use.
• No Refunds: Registered participants cannot get refunds after registration.

Family and Friends

• Watching the Race: Best viewing at Start and Finish Line Compound.
• Course Maps: Interactive maps online for family to locate cheering spots.

Weather Conditions

A little rain won’t stop this race! However, if there are major weather warnings prior to the event, check the home page for updates and watch for an email.

In the event that severe weather does threaten the event, we have prepared some weather cancellation policies and guidelines. Runners’ safety is the most important thing and if any of the threatening weather conditions listed below are present the day of the event, the event may be delayed or canceled.

• Conditions for Delay/Cancellation: Lightning, tornado warnings, severe thunderstorms, heavy rain.

Finish Line Party

Yes, it’s called the Provo City Finish Line Party!! We will have amazing food, bounce houses, and face painting for kids. Please feel free to bring blankets and chairs to relax on at the finish line while cheering on your fellow runners!
