Superheroes Triumph! 5K OC 2026

Event Overview

Just a walk in the park again - for the 4th year in a row! Our annual Superheroes Triumph 5K! is fighting crime in the OC again this year. This run, walk, and roll is taking over Mason Regional Park located at 18712 University Drive, Irvine, CA 92612 on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Are you ready?

Event Participation

• Inclusivity: No matter what your ability is, you are a hero to us.
• Course: This 5K will “pack a punch” in fun and ease with a fast, gentle rolling course.
• Perks: Runner perks include a finisher’s medal, race bib, chip timed course, pre and post race snacks, and of course - no superhero is complete without a cape!
• Prizes: Awards for Top Male, Top Female, Fastest Para Athlete, and Fastest Quad Athlete!

Special Features

• Best Costume Contest: Dress up like your favorite Superhero and you can be chosen as the BEST dressed caped crusader.
• The CHALLENGE: To our friends with SCI that are ambulatory, you are challenged to walk as far as you are super-humanly able, whether it's five steps or the full 5K!
• Goal Setting: Set your personal goal for the day: you can walk a portion and/or roll a portion.
• Beneficiary: 100% of the proceeds benefit Triumph Foundation and our mission to help people triumph over paralysis.

ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE THE MORNING OF THE EVENT!

About Triumph Foundation

Triumph Foundation exists to help children, adults, and Veterans to triumph over Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders. Our goal is to help people maximize their recovery from life altering accidents and disorders. We find solutions for people to increase independence, improve self-efficacy, and reintegrate back into the community.

Event Details and Schedule

• PARKING: There will be ample parking throughout the park closest to the race festivities on asphalt and is accessible. There is a $5 fee to park inside the park with very limited parking on the streets within close proximity to the event festivities.
• RESTROOMS: There is a restroom building located near the start & finish line as well as ample facilities on the course and throughout the park.
• EVENT TIMELINE:
  • 8:00 AM: Onsite Registration & Resource Fair
  • 9:00 AM: Race Begins
  • 10:30 AM: Awards
  • 11:00 AM: Event Clean Up
