Set Free Movement Freedom Run/Walk 2026

Event Overview

• Annual Event: This is our 11th annual event.
• Purpose: We aim to raise awareness about human trafficking and support the Set Free Movement’s initiatives.
• Fostering Hope Ministry: Proceeds will help support our local Fostering Hope ministry.
• Community Support: Funds will benefit those in foster care and the professionals who work with them.

Participation Details

• Open to All: This is a fun run that welcomes participants of all fitness levels and ages.
• Encouragement: Some run, some jog, some walk—everyone is encouraged to join us.
• Freedom Festival: The event will be part of our Freedom Festival, featuring pop-ups, food, and raffles.
• Scenic Route: The route is flat, taking you through nice neighborhoods and along a canal trail.

Participant Amenities

• Registration Benefits: All registered participants will receive a drawstring bag, t-shirt, and other goodies (while supplies last).
• Awards: Participants are eligible for awards for overall fastest male and female, as well as fastest in each age category.
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts are guaranteed for everyone who registers by Sept 1.
• Early Registration: Early bird registration pricing available on September 13.

Event Schedule

• Bag Pickup: 5k participants can pick up their bags beginning at 7:30am on Sept 26.
• Race Start: The run starts on the west side of the church at 8:30am.
• Parking: There is parking available in the church parking lot and along the street in the neighborhood.
• Route Details: The route is along E Tuolumne, Daubenberger, Canal, and Johnson Rd in Turlock.

Post-Race Activities

• Refreshements: Free water and healthy snacks will be available near the finish line.
• Awards Ceremony: We encourage you to stick around for the awards and to check out vendor booths.
• Food Options: For those wanting a larger meal after the run/walk, food and drinks will be available for purchase.
• Event Location: The race will take place at 2006 E Tuolumne Rd, Turlock, CA.
