About this race
Event Overview
A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming, and focused on focused on fun and participation over competition. OTC wants to introduce kids and families to how great the multisport life is through this USAT sanctioned event!

Competition Format
- Super Sprints: For our regular Super Sprints, timing will be unofficial, and everyone wins.
- Age Categories: Kids of any age can choose Super Sprint x1 or Super Sprint x2.
- Competitive Event: Back from 2025, kids can choose to do the Super Sprint x2 competitive event - which will count towards the USAT Northern California Youth Series!
Support and Celebration
- Safety Volunteers: We will have volunteers around supporting safety and fun, making sure kids take breaks mid-swim if needed.
- Finish Line Celebration: Every competitor will be celebrated as they cross the finish line.
- Medals: Participants will go home with an NEW FOR 2026 official USAT Splash and Dash medal, or a custom competitive wave medal.
