About this race
Event Overview
A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming, and focused on fun and participation over competition. OTC wants to introduce kids and families to how great the multisport life is through this USAT sanctioned event!

- Types of Events: Kids can choose Super Sprint x1 or Super Sprint x2.
Competitions
For our regular Super Sprints, timing will be unofficial, and everyone wins for the regular Super Sprints.
And back from 2025, kids can choose to do the Super Sprint x2 competitive event - which will count towards the USAT Northern California Youth Series!
Support and Celebration
- Volunteers: We will have volunteers around supporting safety and fun.
- Breaks: Volunteers ensure kids take breaks mid-swim if needed.
- Finish Line: Every competitor will be celebrated as they cross the finish line.
- Medals: Participants will go home with a NEW FOR 2026 official USAT Splash and Dash medal, or a custom competitive wave medal.
