Registration Information

2026 Registration Now Open

Discounts:

• Student Discount: Students 18 and under will automatically receive a $5.00 discount for 5K and 10K events.
• Group Discount: Registrations of 4 or more at the same time will automatically receive a 5% discount off the total.
• Effective Date: Discounts apply to registrations beginning 11/1/2025.

Note on Pricing: Effective 7/1/2024, SB478 (also known as the Honest Pricing Law) requires that all pricing displayed is inclusive of mandatory processing fees.

Join us for the annual Run for Education and be sure to stop by the Expo for Education.

New in 2026!

• New Location: Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon.
• New Event: A 1.5 mile walk/run (untimed).
• 10K Route: Will begin at Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville and end at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon.

How to Register

Simply complete registration below, and you are in! Once you are registered, you can expect to receive a few emails from us explaining all the details.

Events Offered

• Mini Run: For our youngest athletes ages 2 - 6.
• Friendship Run: For our athletes with special needs. Walk, run, or roll.
• 1.5 Mile (Untimed): Same start and finish as 5K.
• 5K: Start and finish in San Ramon.
• 10K: Start in Danville and finish in San Ramon.
• Virtual: Support the Run for Education without attending on Race Day.

Important Notes

• Bibs must be worn while on the course. Only those with bibs are allowed on the course.
• Only those with a Mini Run bib are allowed on the Mini Run course. Two-year-old participants may be accompanied by one parent/guardian.
• For everyone’s safety, participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Bicycles and dogs are not allowed on the course.
• Shirts that are not picked up at a packet pickup or at a pre-arranged time by October 30, 2026, will be donated.

Pricing

Register early for the best pricing. Prices increase on the following dates:

Participants under 18 years old as of race day will automatically receive $5.00 off at checkout. Group discounts are available for registrations of 4 or more.

Race Day T-Shirts

Short-sleeve cotton shirts and souvenir medals included with Mini, Friendship, 1.5 Mile, and 5K registrations. 10K adults receive a long-sleeve tech shirt. Virtual runners may optionally purchase a shirt.

Please sign up by September 15, 2026 to ensure the best chance of receiving your preferred shirt size and type.

Where Will the Money Go?

The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation works in collaboration with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District to fund priority initiatives within our schools, such as district level grants, STEAM programs, professional learning, and individual teacher grants.

Fundraising

Every registration automatically generates a fundraising page. By sharing their personal page with family and friends, every participant can use their fundraising page to raise money that directly supports their school.

• 70% will be returned to the school of choice.
• 30% will be used by SRVEF to help fund district-wide initiatives that otherwise would not be possible.

All funds raised on fundraising team pledge pages not affiliated with SRVUSD schools will be considered donations to SRVEF, which funds district-wide initiatives benefiting all students.

Results

The 5K and 10K will both be timed. After the race, you will be able to print a certificate.
