The 2027 Run for Education

2027 Registration Now Open

Join us for the annual Run for Education and be sure to stop by the Expo for Education.

Pricing Information

• Inclusions: All pricing includes platform and credit card charges.
• Discounts: Discounts applied with registrations beginning 10/29/2026 (after Super Early Bird pricing).
• Student Discount: Students 18 and under will automatically receive a $5.00 discount on 1.5mile, 5K, and 10K events.
• Group Discount: Registrations of 4 or more at the same time will automatically receive a 5% discount off the total.

Important Notes

• Age Requirement: Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Course Regulations: Bibs must be worn while on the course. Only those with bibs are allowed on the course.
• OPEN Course: The Run for Education course will remain open until 10:30am. Participants on the course after that time may encounter limited amenities.
• Restrictions: Bicycles and dogs are not allowed on the course.

Event Types

• Mini Run: for our youngest athletes ages 2 - 6.
• Friendship Run: for our athletes with special needs. Walk, run or roll.
• 1.5 Mile: Untimed event.
• Virtual: Support the Run for Education without attending on Race Day. It's a donation!

T-Shirts

Mini, Friendship, 1.5 Mile, and 5K registration includes a short-sleeve cotton shirt and a souvenir medal. 10K Adults receive a long-sleeve tech shirt. Virtual Runners may optionally purchase a shirt. We encourage you to sign up by September 15, 2027 to ensure your desired shirt size and type.

Charitable Contributions

The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation works in collaboration with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District to fund priority initiatives within our schools, such as district level grants, STEAM programs, professional learning, and individual teacher grants.

Fundraising

Every registration automatically generates a fundraising page. By sharing your personal page with family and friends, every participant can raise money that directly supports their school.

Results

The 5K and 10K will both be timed. After the race, participants will be able to print a certificate of completion.
